Dear ARSHI members, dear participants, dear colleagues,,,

It's finally time to hold the 1st ARSHI annual conference! Together with the organizers, the ARSHI board has developed a pandemic-compliant virtual concept for this meeting, which will be held on 04-05 March 2022.

On behalf of the ARSHI board and organization committee we would like to welcome you to this digital format of meeting. Of course, we would actually like to greet you all live and personally, but due to the Omicron pandemic, we had to decide on the safest planning option, which is currently virtual. We have already experienced the challenging time of the ongoing pandemic; in which we could not hold a planned conference shortly before the start in 2020.

To avoid of this experience again, we decided to “play” it safe this year, as virtual conferences have inevitably prevailed and become a routine by finding their way into our everyday lives now. In terms of content, we can look forward with joy and curiosity to a compact scientific program with sessions on current topics in immunogenetics such as solid organ, stem cell transplantation, disease association, future diagnostic technologies and COVID-19.

We will be able to hear many regional and international experts, chairs and distinguished colleagues from the Middle East region and from all over the World. Finally, it is the express wish of ARSHI's board to support young colleagues and therefore we keen to give emerging researchers an appropriate segment in the conference sessions in which they present their ideas, projects and researches. The best submitted 3 abstracts will win a valuable prize, let it be a surprise! I am looking forward to seeing you virtually in March 2022!
